Clacton Continued

Filed under: Life, Family — Sarah @ 11:42 pm

We went into Clacton today. Drove past this dog gromming place, “Doggie Style”. Clacton wins.

We just had a family game of scrabble. Dad won but I managed to put a “Z” on a triple letter score. 30 points for one letter! I thank you. Then Dad left and I became the brainy one, winning the game by using words such as “nice” and “is”.

We then went on to play cards. We broke open some chocolate so the three of us were a bit hyper I suspect. We tried to play rummy and poker but our made up rules just didn’t really work. Settled on playing Seven of Diamonds and Beat My Neighbour. Which is a stupidly long game that we played even though mother didn’t even know the ruels to.

Don’t say we don’t know how to have a wild night.

Locals only

Filed under: Life, Family, Random — Sarah @ 11:45 pm

We got snow.

Also, actual real conversation:

Mam: Is there a Virgin Megastores in Clacton?
Me: No, there isn’t a virgin in Clacton.
Amy: There isn’t a virgin in Clacton! HA!

Amy wins.  I’m sure you get the gist of why that’s funny but to appreciate fully you should optimally be living somewhere near Clacton.

Get on it.

Electro Girl

Filed under: Life, Family — Sarah @ 5:45 pm

Went out for the traditional Christmas Eve family walk on the beach today. Was strangely warm, no coat required type weather. Got some good beach pictures. There was one photo opportunity that definitely was not to be missed.

HARD CORE!

You know you’d have done the same.

Anyway, Amy’s been working some more Computer magic.

Scene to be Seen

Filed under: Life — Sarah @ 7:36 pm

GUESS WHERE I AM NOW. In the LOUNGE…with the lead piping…. of all places. Didn’t see that one coming did you Colonel Mustard? Anyway, Dad’s been messing around with networking and we can now surf the web in the lounge. Useful baby.

Last night was top stuff. We partied it up good. Me whilst looking the SCENSTA-EST person you’ve ever seen (scene?).

SCENE-ed

Yes, pearls and a head band. My heart breaks. (I took this on my camera phone and bluetoothed it over. I am skilled. Also I got a photo from Mark. Everyone else should.)

I had to take the car in to the garage today because the back speakers weren’t working. How am I supposed to cruise with the bass turned all the way up if I can’t mess with the EQ? Anyway, sat around for 30 minutes while they worked it out. It took that long for them to come and tell me that the model of the car we have doesn’t actually come with back speakers. They couldn’t fix them because they weren’t actually there.

Anyway, Tessy and I present swapped it up to the max today. She MADE me the single most coolest t-shirt in the world ever.

Jealous much? Thought so. Ask Tess to make one for you. She wont, but do it anyway. This is a one of a kind Tessy original.

Ok, the television is required for actual television work. TA TA. Leave me love.

Memory Lane

Filed under: Life, Family — Sarah @ 12:01 pm

I am fully back into living life the Essex way.

On Tues I spent the day Christmas shopping and lunching with the Sarahs and Hannah. Then in the evening the day was Christmas’d up to the max and me, mother, Amy and the Sarahs went to the local stables where there was a carol service AND a nativity tableau. Apparently…

I then Christmas shopped AGAIN avec the sister in Ipswich where we bought lots of Christmas presents for her (I bought absolutely nothing for myself SIGH WOE IS ME). Then in the evening Chris (eventually) made his way over to Thorpe on the train, we chilled and were cool then I drove him home. (I have made the greatest mix CD for the car.)

ALSO I have now got myself a new phone. It has BLUETOOTH baby. Yeah, I’m ahead of the times. It also has a camera. Send me photos. It will amuse me. Number is still the same.

Tonight Tess and I party it up in Colchester like nobody’s business. Nobody’s business but ours. FUN WILL BE HAD.

Awards

Filed under: Life, Events — Sarah @ 11:50 pm

Tonight was the college awards. It was an EXCELLENT evening. Not because we were sat there for 2 whole hours watching people get awards but more for the fact that I saw absolutely everyone practically.

It was so so so good seeing everyone. I met Nannon in town then went and saw Jojo and all my grammar guys in the Playhouse and then on to the awards to catch up with college peoples. So awesome. Honestly. Top.

Sarahs!

All the Sarahs were back together again.

College peoples

And got to see Holly, MIKE YAY and Alex again too. Man I’ve missed everyone. They all rule, official, everyone has rule staus for the evening. I hope they all use it well.
