Poprocks + birds = Nature’s fireworks?

Today I decided to take advantage of the lovely weather and went out for a stroll round the shops with Claire.

Whilst walking past Waverly Station, I was asked (for I believe it to be a question) “Bigissue?”,

I responded politely, as I always do because I believe it’s better than just staring at the ground “No thank you.”

As I was walking past, the Big Issue vendor then decided to hit me on the back of the head repeatedly with the magazine he was holding, telling me that I shouldn’t be so cheeky.

Obviously shocked, Claire and I turned round and looked at him.  He then proceeded to hurl more abuse at us.

It seriously shocked me.  I’ve never experienced anything like that.  Usually people are good hearted and appreciative enough that you choose to acknowledge them.  I can understand that the Big Issue vendors must suffer a fair amount of verbal abuse from various members of the public and that it must be a tough thing to do but it surely does not excuse this man’s behavior.
I suppose this is a warning for people here in the Burg.  Avoid the old guy with long yellow hair outside the Waverly ramp entrance.

Well gosh isn’t the weather lovely recently?

Whilst home, I went for a walk in Beaumont’s locals only woods and took some rather lovely photos.

We’re currently starting a project here at home to change the garden.  I’m treating it like a home make over show where you only have to see how bad it looks at the beginning and then how wonderful it looks at the end without any stresses about whether or not it’s going right/to plan.  So here it is now:

Now I run off to Uni, miss the icky bits and come back in Summer to see a beautiful new garden with a water feature but noticeable lack of decking.

And finally.  I made the most awesomely boat shaped, self supporting yorkshire pudding structure last night.

Jealous?  Thought so.

I am one of the Internet’s leading procrastinators. I have a very long list of websites that I visit at least daily when looking for things to waste time on.

I’ve been thinking about sharing my findings and secrets with you and have now got a good reason. Rhiannon helpfully pointed out to me that it is coming up to exam time and a lot of you will be looking for things to while away the times with.
