SORRY
SORRY SORRY SORRY already.
Do you remember the “I have no internet” excuses from this time last year? They apply once more, but this time I think I’ll be without internet for the whole year. Do not worry though as now I’m a third year Computer Scientist I’m expected to keep a toothbrush at the labs and form a bed arrangement using only 4 swivel chairs. Kitchens have actually been installed (I’m not even sarcastically over exaggerating this part.)
So now that my life is based here (and I’ve had to pay money for the sarahrules name again) I’m determined to keep on top of things. I may also have work I’m supposed to be doing now… Plus sarahrules is 2 years old now! Golly Gosh.
I’ve found a few photos to summArise what I did in the summEr. I’ve still got the wit! All are thanks to facebook and most thanks to Sarah (H)’s ability to take on 5000 photos per social event.
Firstly we have my first trip to the Hippodrome. For those of you not familiar with the place it’s a club in Colchester, you may know it by it’s colloquial name of “The Slapperdrome”, tagline: Where the girls are too young and the men too old. I know I said I’d never go but I was taking northern guests there, they wanted the full Essex experience. Yes, they got to see some patent leather high heeled white boots. Here’s Sarah and I wondering where other Sarah is.
Also this summer we went to Thorpe Park. I went with enough people to fill a rapids tyre! We were so intimidating that we were allowed to go round twice in a row! It was worth it to get this photo though.
I then spent more time with water and went rowing. Same place as last year but with Hannah this time. I decided to add a certain something to the afternoon with clever accesorising.
Then there was a family holiday in and around Berwick. There happen to be a lot of castles in this area which allowed me to do this:
We went to the castle where Harry Potter was filmed too. Due to HIGHLY unfortunate circumstances (a recent shopping trip to Primark) I turned up dressed like a Gryffindor student (at least it wasn’t Slytherin! Phew!). After much embarrassment on my part I saw past it and posed for this wonderful photo with Amy.
AND AS PROMISED. THE FABLED AND SOMEWHAT UNIMPRESSIVE AMSTERDAM PHOTOS.
Turns out we didn’t take as many as I’d remembered. I actually have more to say but I have to be somewhere right now. Hope you enjoyed all that!

Cant believe I missed out on the hippodrome
I feel its necessary to life experience to go there.
Stupid..being ill.
I find it ironic you were embarrased at looking mildly like a Gryffindor student, yet you walked around the Knights Quest in full medieval dress.
Why is it ok to look like staff sometimes and not others?
