Dirty Words
I went to a gig tonight. It’s the first one I’ve been to in ages. The first one I’ve paid for in ages too. No more writing for the Student Newspaper for now. Gigs are meant to be for fun, I don’t think I need anymore work than I already have.
It was The Departure I went to see by the way. They were truly excellent. I miss watching live music. No matter how tired or not in the mood for it you are you will always come out feeling slightly elated and happier than before. Music fixes things.
What was the last gig you saw? What’s your next one?

I saw the Arcade Fire in San Francisco about 3 weeks ago. In 2 weeks I’m seeing The Go! Team in LA.
Do I win?
Arcade Fire are tight, by the way. One of the best shows I’ve been to in some time. (The most recent show before that was the Holloways in Camden and someone poured diesel on my head. So, not the best).
