Dear the Internet,

I O U one picture of my new hair cut.

For now I will tell you it’s a cross between Anna Wintour and Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka.

I’m currently a little ill and so one of my ears is a little funny.

This has resulted in my gaining a super power. That super power is that in my right ear I hear things in a slightly higher pitch than I should. Music is actually transposed up a note or two. My left ear remains unsuperhuman however.
I had both earphones in listening to Barber’s Adagio for Strings and it sounded like a parade of fire engines.

My ears, like me, cannot harmonise properly.

I had to go to the drop-in dental surgery today due to some serious dental pain.

Whilst there I noticed one of the nurses wearing blue crocs to work.  “Gosh” I thought to myself, “I’m surprised she’s allowed to wear those.”

Then I saw another rebel croc wearer.  Then another.

I think that blue crocs are actually standard issue footwear for NHS dental nurses.

Dad, you know what career you need to switch to.

I came back home on Friday.  Today we went out to Aldeburgh and ate chips.
